Trip Highlights

Sangría Fight
Imagine a 24-hour food fight, but with sangría! You’ll dodge through the crowds, flinging sangria on fellow festival-goers, and get soaked by sneak attacks from balconies above.

Folkloric Events
Fireworks explode overhead and brass bands in quirky costumes march in parades. Musicians fill alleys with exotic tunes, overcome by the roar of “OLÉ” shouted at daring matadors.

Running Of The Bulls
Cheer on brave Spaniards and tourists from your balcony as they run for their lives in this fast-paced, high-risk race through the narrow streets of Pamplona.
What’s Included In Your Trip?*
Accommodation
Because the bulls only run through a few select streets, location is key. You’ll stay in downtown Pamplona, in the middle of everything, with a balcony view of the running of the bulls.
Airport Transfers
We arrange for your airport pick up and drop off. Look out for our welcome banner. We’ll make sure you get checked into your apartment without a hitch.
Immersive Experiences
You’ll enjoy Spanish food, revel in traditional events and meet people from all over the world when you party in the streets of Pamplona. Our goal is for you to get the full festival experience hassle-free.
Expert Local Guides
While many first-time festival-goers get squished in the back of the crowd, we get you in the right spots at the right time. We’ve teamed up with local guides to plan your trip around the main events.
The OOO Club Team Travels With You
We cover the logistics to help you safely navigate through the festival and get in the action. With over a million visitors flocking to Pamplona, a personal experience lead is an invaluable convenience.
*Flights, food, drinks, tips, and additional excursions/transportations are not included.

Tradition And Events

Festival Attire
You’ll dress the part in all white, with a red scarf and sash. Although not mandatory, immersing yourself in tradition and blending into a sea of white attire is part of the fun.
You can buy a red scarf and sash in Pamplona, but pack white clothes that you don’t mind getting stained in the wild sangría fight.
Parades Of ‘Giants And Big Heads’
An entourage of ‘giant’ dancers parade through the streets, wearing 13-foot tall king and queen costumes, while performers known as ‘big heads’ wear oversized papier-maché masks.
This bizarre parade of twirling giants entertains the crowds by dancing in the streets to traditional Spanish music.

Music And Atmosphere
In parks, gardens and public plazas, nonstop music and dance surround you, injecting life and elevating the festival atmosphere.
You can sip sangria, dance till the morning hours and mingle with travelers from all over the world at open-air jazz, salsa, rock and pop concerts.

FAST FACTS
WHAT IS A MEMBERS-ONLY TRIP AND WHO IS IT FOR?
Festivals are loads of fun, but they’re more fast-paced than our standard 7-day trips. To ensure the experience is smooth and safe for everyone, it’s best for you to know how we work before booking a festival.
Those who have traveled with us before are considered members, and are eligible for the San Fermín Festival trip.
Those who haven’t traveled with us yet, check out our unique destinations and immersive experiences on our trips calendar. Once you take a 7-day trip with us, you’re granted free membership to The OOO Club with full benefits, including access to festival trips.
CAN I EXTEND MY STAY?
Of course! We cover everything you need for the first three days of the festival, but you’re welcome to stay longer.
Once you get invited to our internal communication channel, take advantage of The OOO Club travel community to coordinate an extended trip with other festival-bound members.
IS PAMPLONA, SPAIN SAFE?
Like any other city in the world, we recommend using general safety measures while traveling, like avoiding any dark and narrow alleys at night. There will be a mandatory meeting prior to the trip in which we go over safety in detail.
Keep in mind that this festival has many popular events with big crowds. Flashy jewelry or valuable items can be easily spotted by pickpockets.
You’ll receive tips to avoid pickpocketing and other precautionary information in The OOO Club Guidebook.
WILL I HAVE WIFI OR CELL SERVICE?
Yes. We only book accommodation that has WiFi and most U.S. SIM cards also work locally. Local SIM cards are sometimes cheap at the airport but make sure to check the data plan before you buy.
HOW CAN I GET AROUND PAMPLONA, SPAIN?
Because you’ll be staying in downtown Pamplona, everything is within walking distance.
IS THERE FOOD FOR DIFFERENT DIETS AND SAFE DRINKING WATER?
Spanish cuisine is typically meat-heavy, but there are many vegan and vegetarian restaurants to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences.
We recommend drinking only bottled water during the festival.
